HerSpace
ABOUT
HerSpace is a dedicated initiative within the C4C & VEN Community Engagement Program, designed to support women, particularly those healing from emotional trauma, betrayal, or life transitions - through safe, trauma-informed experiences rooted in Vietnamese culture and nature. HerSpace blends Vietnamese cultural wisdom, somatic practices, creative therapy, and sisterhood to help women reconnect with themselves and build inner strength.
#OurWomen Magazine
This magazine shares the lived stories of Vietnamese women, especially single mothers, in their own words and on their own terms. The series is created with informed consent and paid honoraria, and it connects readers to practical ways to stand with the women featured — through HerSpace experiences, skill training, and dignified work.
RETREAT ELEMENTS
HerSpace Culinary Experience (half day):
This immersive experience invites participants to step into the heart of a Vietnamese kitchen. Guided by single mothers training as chefs through HerKitchen, participants learn to brew cà phê phin and transform it into creative variations like egg or salt coffee. They also prepare daily Vietnamese comfort dishes, such as bún nem or cơm rang, and discover how these simple meals can be adapted into endless flavors, just as local families do every day. Storytelling and cultural insights make this more than a cooking class, it’s an intimate window into resilience, family life, and joy.
Offer programs:
